With summer months coming to a close, Torontonians are savouring the long-awaited warmer weather by getting outside and enjoying all that their neighbourhoods have to offer. Bloor Yorkville is an area in particular that experiences a shift in energy as the community comes alive through culture, events, art and style. This charmingly strollable neighbourhood turns its streets into outdoor patios and creates an atmosphere that’s alluring to residents and visitors alike. At 55C Bloor Yorkville Residences, that same energy exudes as our construction team continues to be hard at work reaching new milestones on site.

During the month of July, we completed the podium and the sophisticated terraced massing created by architects Alliance is now emerging. The lower six floors of the podium are now fully enclosed by a combination of curtain wall and window wall with the distinctive architectural stainless-steel fins now visible from Charles Street.  The amenity floor at the base of the tower has been poured, and on July 14th a milestone was reached with the pouring of the first typical tower floor.  Currently, the tower structure has begun to rise to its ultimate height of 50-storeys and as September approaches, the interior suite stud framing will commence.
